IPO Allotment IPO Result of CEDB Hydropower Development Company Ltd has been published today

CEDB Hydropower Development has been received 1,685,627 verified application among 2,46,45,735 Units share have been verified. Out of them, 61 thousand 372 lots demanded from 4 thousand 442 applicants have been disqualified, according to Capital. Similarly, 16 lakh 37 thousand 659 applications received from 48 thousand 322 applicants could not be verified, according to Capital. In this regard, this IPO has also been distributed through round robin. Out of which 2 lakh 34 thousand 195 applicants have received shares at the rate of 10 lots while 4 of them have received additional 1/1 lots of shares. The rest of the applicants are empty handed.





CEDB Hydropower Development Company IPO Allotment result has been published today. The IPO of CEDB Hydropower has been distributed through virtual medium at the office of Securities Sales Manager Sunrise Capital at 11:30 this morning. The final results of this IPO will be seen in a few hours.

About CEDB Hydropower Development Company 

CEDB Hydropower Development Company Limited (CHDC), a public limited company incorporated under the prevalent laws of Nepal on Mangsir 15, 2066 (November 30, 2009). CEDB Hydropower Development Company Limited (CHDC) was founded by the then Clean Energy Development Bank to provide equity investment for hydropower projects to meet energy needs of the nation. 


CHDC is currently mandated to invest in and develop Hydropower Projects. It has got three hydropower projects in operation and four projects at construction and development stages.



History Of CEDB Hydropower Development Company

CEDB hydropower Development Company Limited was founded by the Clean Energy Development Bank to provide equity investment for hydropower projects to meet energy needs of the nation. The company has been operating 3 hydropower projects which has a combined electricity generation capacity of 8.583 MW.

About IPO Issue

CEDB Hydropower Development Company Limited (CHDCL) had 839,410,000 total capital amount. This company has been issued 2518230 unit IPO share to Public worth Rs. 251,823,000 from Baisakh 17 to 21 recently. Among of 2518230 units Public share, 2%  for employee of CEDB Hydropower, 5% for mutual fund and remaining 93% share has been issued to the general public. Sunrise Capital Limited had been appointed as the issue manager for the IPO issuance.
