Upcoming IPO details:
21 companies are in the pipeline to issue the Initial
Public Offering (IPO) in Nepal till date July 23, 2020. They have submitted the
application for IPO to the Securities Board of Nepal (SEBON). Few have been
already received approval from Securities Board. Pipeline IPO is worth Rs. 6.41
billion. Those companies, who are in pipeline going to issue 64,193,846 units
Initial shares (IPO). Among them, some are hydropower companies, one is
microfinance company, four are insurance companies, one is merchant bank and
five are other.
In the category of Hydropower IPO:
Companies are as follwing:

Limited.
There is a legal provision for hydropower companies to apply to the
board only after getting the approval of the Hydropower Regulatory Commission.
In Category of General Insurance IPO:
1. Sanima general Insurance
2. IME Life
Insurance and
3. Reliance Insurance.
Will float the shares in the IPO. Ajod
insurance has recently sold IPO in this month.
In category of Microfinance
Companies IPO:
1. Samaj Laghubitta is the only microfinance which has currently
applied to SEBON for the IPO issue. It will float 86,000 shares in the IPO.
Recently, Sadhana Laghubitta issued IPO to the general public this month.
